Henry the kitten had only hours left to live when this woman saved him from scheduled euthanasia. Cat Rescue Newcastle is a group of fosters and volunteers who help save cats on death row. When they heard about Henry, they knew they had to save him. A local volunteer, Adelle was able to pitch in and provide the transportation needed to get Henry to safety.
“When I arrived and safely parked at the meeting place for his foster carer I decided to let him roam (in the car) since he had had a very stressful morning and was meowing constantly in his cat carrier,” Adelle said.
That’s when Henry starts giving his rescuer head bumps and kisses. He’s so thankful to be free.
It didn’t take Henry long to find a loving forever home. I mean, who could resist that face? It’s hard to imagine that such a sweet kitten narrowly escaped euthanasia.
