At Cuddle Clones, we love helping amazing rescues and no-kill shelters do important life-saving work in their communities. And, today we would like to take a moment to introduce you, Arizona Small Dog Rescue of Phoenix, Arizona, a very worthy rescue that we recently had the opportunity to assist through a monetary donation of $264.

Arizona Small Dog Rescue (AZSDR), is a non-profit registered 501(c)3 no-kill rescue shelter.  AZSDR is a group of volunteers that have dedicated their lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs.

When space is available, they accept owner surrenders of all breeds under 20 pounds for no fee or a small fee.  They also spay/neuter, vaccinate and medically examine all dogs that come into their rescue.  AZSDR has many dogs turned in every week and always have a wide variety of available dogs that would fit into all families and homes.

Most of the animals in their shelter come from the euthanasia list from Maricopa County Animal Control and other shelters in the area.  Some are dogs come by the way of owners who can no longer care for their pets, and some are injured, ill, or stray dogs brought in by good Samaritans.
