How Do You Produce The Artwork?

Our Custom Pet Portraits are hand-illustrated by our skilled artists. We start by reviewing the high-resolution photos you submit to capture every unique detail. Then, we sketch and refine the illustration to create a portrait of your pet.

How Many Pets Can a Portrait Feature?

At this time, we are only able to feature one pet per Custom Pet Portrait. Our focus is on capturing every intricate detail to create a sentimental piece of art that does justice to your pet's unique characteristics.

What Types of Pets Can You Illustrate?

From scales to tails, we illustrate all pets with love and care!

What are the Materials of your Portraits and Frames

Gallery Paper Portraits are made from satin finish, bright white photo paper and radiata pine wood frames in matte black or white that are fitted with shatter proof plexi-glass. Canvas Prints are made from standard digital print canvas that is scratch and warp resistant and kiln-dried pine wood frames avaliable in matte black and white. Both options come ready to hang and are designed to resist fading and yellowing.

What Type of Photos Should I Submit for the Best Outcome

We carefully review each photo as orders come in. If we find any issues with the submitted images, we'll contact you via email to request additional pictures of your pet. To ensure the highest quality portrait, we recommend submitting photos that are taken in natural daylight (without flash) and at your pet's eye level.

Can I See my Artwork Before it is Printed?

Yes, Cuddle Clones offers ONE free preview and the option for one revision per portrait. After placing your order, keep an eye on your email for a preview of the artwork. You'll have 72 hours from the time you receive the email to request any edits or approve the artwork for printing. If we don't hear back from you within that 72-hour window, the artwork will be automatically approved and sent for printing.

What are the Final Dimensions When the Portraits are Framed?

The frames are 1 in thick. The final dimensions are 9.5 x 11.5 in (when 8 x 10 in. is framed), 13.5 x 17.5 in (when 12 x 16 in. is framed), and 19.5 x 25.5 in (when 18 x 24 in. is framed).
